May 18, 2013 my dream of having my own space to write whatever I wanted without worry had finally come to fruition. Years of writing on other sites and dealing with the pitfalls that sometimes accompany those keystrokes had finally brought me full circle to what I should have been doing all along.
I was unsure about the process of "building something up from scratch" but I am blessed to have a brother who was willing to guide me from day one.
Day one was a nightmare....for him. :) As was day two and day three. I am a girl who reads no instructions first and just dives right into projects hoping for a perfect outcome. And usually I get that.
That is not the case when building your "own" web page.
My brother Joe is a man who knows what to do, and has the patience to work with his impatient sister who expected it would be the same as writing on say, BlogSpot. It was not.
And each and every day I am learning something new to this process of sharing via thoughts and codes.
Don't get me wrong, I am in no way tech savvy and here coding up a storm. My goal was to set up a home for my "life moments"...and somewhere along the way I get to learn the things that make the world wide web tick.
Seven months ago I was glad to see a handful of visits on my counter. All bloggers are. We say to ourselves...it really doesn't matter... but yet it does in a small way. Like it is our "voices" validation of sorts.
Writing that, I am reminded of the line from the movie, "Field of Dreams"....
'If you build it they will come.'
And you did.
For whatever the reason was you stopped by and read something I have shared for the day, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.xoxo
