The Bath and Body Works stores in my area are starting to look...sad. The walls have barely any products on them other than some regular priced Signature things. The tables are filled with bins of mismatched items that everyone has rumpled around in, and the general floor looks like there is a clearance sale going on. A going out of business clearance sale.
Time to get out the new!
A pet peeve of mine is the information department. Todays sales associate....and I use that term lightly....said to me when I asked her a question regarding the new signature trio that is coming this week..." hey I am only here weekends I dunno." This woman has worked in this store for more than a decade. Not a response of, I am not sure but let me ask my manager.... just a flat out....I dunno.
And maybe its me. When I work for a company, I know all I can about the product. And sure, not everyone is like that. Most get a job at minimum wage and show up and that's it. But when the customers come in knowing far more than the staff and some managers....it does make you think a bit.
So I wandered around the standing gift bag rack and found a few more that I like at 75% off. A few packs of silly gift tags { I mean we are all naughty sometimes} and the scent portable snow globe. For a total of $10.59.
I saw the Lux handsoaps were moved to the 75% off table but I did resist. This store had the gift sets still only at 25% off while some of the other stores I was in this weekend had them at 50% off. This store still had the Deluxe robe gift set {$200.00} now unsealed and full of fingerprints and only 25% off.
