Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

Found on an end cap display in Kmart today {with a $1.00 coupon attached} priced at $5.49 a tube, this new foundation from Rimmel is wonderful.

Here is the description of the product from the company:

 

A feather light, oil free formula with an airy mousse texture that won’t feel heavy or greasy. Delivers all day shine control and blends flawlessly for a natural looking matte finish. Minimizes the appearance of pores. The weight is over – finally, shine has met its matte.

 

I purchased mine in the color of 010 light porcelain, one of the 8 colors available. The hardest part of buying a product without a shade chart present or actual cream samples is matching your skin tone color.  This color seems to fit me well. 

 

I was concerned with it being a matte finish that it would settle into any fine lines, pores or wrinkles and so far it hasn't disappointed me.  The finish feels smooth on my skin, and there was no scent to it.  I did try it on skin that was not moisturized.  Tomorrow I will try it with a pore smoother first, and then Monday I will try it with simply moisturizer and/or sunscreen.

So far, so great.....
