I've often heard it said, "time heals all wounds".

Not all.

This weekend is the anniversary of the death of our only child and regardless if it is six years, sixteen years or sixty years....it doesn't seem to get easier.  The grief changes, yes of course.  But her absence will be felt with every breath I take until there are no more to take.

Chestnuts...roasting on an open fire...... Jack Frost nipping at your nose....

Wait, Calendar reads September but not Bath and Body Works calendar!  Yay....  Holidays, they be a comin' and I, for one, am ready.

These are lovely. Regardless of your decorating themes, you cannot go wrong with trees.  I am glad that the finish on theses is a bit more natural colored than the silver.  Don't get me wrong, I do love the silver too.. and decorating in a winter white forest theme.... but these afford you the opportunity of leaving them out for Winter, and not just holiday.  I already own the dual trees from last year.
