We aren't done yet with Bath and Body Works  and new holiday things! There are still more floor sets of new coming in the next few weeks along with Super Saturday and that event purchase with purchase so Santa's of the world with unfinished shopping, don't despair....

Personally, I think I am passing on the Black Friday VIP tote this year.  I sat yesterday looking around the entire site and there isn't anything really I need to make up a $40.00 order, then add into that $20 for the bag and tax and shipping and handling.  The bag isn't fabulous.  It's okay...mind you, just not enough for me to get up and fight the crowds for. 

The next candle sale is scheduled for this weeks holiday ~ turkey day ~ black fri-day and it's the typical 2/$22.  Probably the other reason why (if its true) only certain areas got the 2/$15 candle sale email coupon.  personally I did not see that coupon posted anywhere but I wasn't interested anymore since my buying the four last weekend during the buy 2 get 2 free sale plus mystery discount sale.  I got my candles for $6.00 each and that was good enough for me.

This morning I looked online and tons of new....as expected.  Including Winter Market items....

Sunday: deal of the day bath and Body Works ~ 3 for $6.00 Travel Size gifts

Todays deal of the day at Bath and Body Works was the travel sized signature products for $2.00 each. Since they have gone up to 3 for $12.00, I wait for these kinds of sales to get them either for myself or for gifts.  I haven't quite decided who gets what yet gift basket wise as I was busy getting the 27 gift bags ready first....but with this kind of a sale going on...and a mystery discount coupon out there....how can you pass up $1.20 each????

So I didn't.  Although the store I was in today was not really nice. This manager needs either to be replaced or sent on a long vacation as she was not having anything her customers were asking.  All she did for the time I was there (and I could not get out of there fast enough) was argue with the customers trying to use their coupons.  Every time they pulled a different one out to use, she made up some reason they couldn't and it wasn't that they coupons weren't valid...she was just being miserable.  And I don't do miserable when I am spending money.  Her and I still need to have a talk but today was not the day....  So I grabbed up I think 27 travel sized items and some clear bags and went on my way.
I did notice in the three other B&BW stores I was in over the weekend that they all have the VIP tote out to drive traffic...and I hear the staff mentioning it to the shoppers.  This store had nothing out and the SA's wandered around not saying anything....which made me wonder if they were doing VIP bags.  They weren't included in the fall bag event. 

 

Black Friday Sales and Specials broken down

I am doing a quick post of the upcoming Black Friday weekend specials and moving it as a featured blog so its easier to find and refer to should you need to know what specials are being offered on which days.

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know most people will be using their:

• $10 off of $30 bounce back coupons that are being given out as well as
• surveys for stacking during this sale. 

If you don't have any of the new bouncebacks it would pay you to go to BBW before the holiday starts and even if you just buy a 50 cent pocketbac you may get a survey on your receipt but you will definitely be getting a bounceback to help save you money.

The forever midnight bottle shaped bounceback for a free item with a $15.00 purchase is still good to use, and there is a $10 off of 30 coupon in the holiday book that was passed out some time ago that is also ready to be used now.

My advice for the best money saving on these holiday sales is this.  PLAN out what you want and write it down.  The stores get crazy during a black Friday sale and we tend to over spend as well as forget what we need and what coupons we have to save us money. Make that list!
Going into a sale with a game plan helps get you in and out quickly and without buyers regret or over charges.

My Buy 2 get 2 free day Haul ~ Bath and Body Works Style~

I was surprised to see that my mornings email differed from some of those posted on other pages but I was glad for this sale.  I was anxiously awaiting it hoping that there would be more new Holiday out in stores, but my store doesn't seem to be the one getting the bubble bath or room sprays, yet.  So after I dropped of three large shopper bags full of gifts there teasing the lead that I had a few returns...I started thinking about what I may need for other gifts as this is a perfect opportunity. 
What I found in store were a lot of confused shoppers who didn't know how awesome the sale could be.  Every time I walked past the register I heard the SA trying to explain to customers that they can go back and get two more items for free...and some even said no.

 

Using the buy 2 get 2 sale and my mystery discount my items priced this way:

I got only four candles and each came out to $6.00 per candle

The four glittery bags were priced at $2.85 each

the pocket bacs were priced at 52/53 cents each

and the pocketbac holders were $2.25 each and finally the wallflowers were priced at $2.55.

These are the sales Dreams and great gift giving are made of !
