I am here frying up peppers, mushrooms and onions to go with the sausage and pasta meal planned for dinner tonight and I checked out my phone to see what is new on the web.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear....but a Large OWL luminary....on B&BW SISTA page dear....

Can I just say for the record...Yay.  :)  I want to see this guy in person but he looks like a must add to my big pile of   "I don't really need it but I like the way it looks and I will use it once then put it up the attic"  stuff.

I did see the smaller version in the store and that one was a bit, creepy in person.  I think it is the way the eyes were....it made it look devilish.  I didn't get that one yet.

Bath & Body Works Ceramic white Pineapple Luminary comparison

Here is a picture of the Bath and Body Works Ceramic Pineapples for comparison.

The larger one was offered a few years ago, is signed with the slatkin name and date and is glazed yellow on the inside.  It is a 3 wick holder size and is offered, occasionally on the secondary market such as Amazon or Ebay. 

The newest one, the smaller one, was offered on QVC ( item number  H199860   $33.12)  a few weeks ago and came with two 4 oz candles as that is what it is designed to hold.

The glaze on the larger pineapple is a more creamy colored white and the smaller is a more pure white.  When placed side by side it is very noticeable.

The new smaller version is lovely and would great in groupings of two or three down the center of a dining table or coffee table...or on a mantel.
